I made this game for the Falling Block Jam 2025.
It is basically a mix between Tetris and a Match-3, but with physics making everything more interesting.
You can learn How to Play by interacting with the proper button inside the game or simply by playing!

I intend to continue developing this game, so audio and visuals will change in the future.
The game code isn't perfect... Sometimes it may happen that a match is not executed as intended.

I suggest to not spam inputs and to download the windows version if you want a better graphic quality.

Visual Credits: 3D assets come from "PLATFORMER - Stylized Cube World Vol.1", made by PolyArt3D
Audio Credits: sound effects and the music loop come Mixkit, Pixabay and Freesound.

Take some Tetris, a bit of Puyo Puyo and add a Suika touch a you have this cool game, well done ! I made a "little" 192 because of a white blocks group which came by surprise.

If I can give you some feedback, there we go :

  • I think the drop setting location (left click) should follow continuously the cursor so we can see it better, and so the left click could be use to drop the piece.
  • Because of the blocks are individual, it can be great to rotate each shape at 360°, and not with 90° increments. Maybe with the mouse wheel.
  • Is it possible to earn some lives ? Five equals two groups of white blocks and (it is only my opinion) I find it is not much compared to the number of white blocks you drop during the game.

Thanks a lot for the appreciation! 192 is a nice score, I've done something like 250 (I don't remember exaclty the number)

1) That's really clever, I will try to make it work!

2) The rotation was as you described at the very beginning, but after a few playtests I decide to switch because it was really slow. In addition to that giving player less options to choose from could be better in order to improve the challenge and the decision making process.

3) It's not possible right now but I will figure out a way to add a mechanic of this type. The main issue with this game was finding a way to make the player lose.
At the beginning there was the classic game over when a block crossed the line, but I think it would have been too unfair and against what makes physics fun, so I implemented this experimental life system. (It definetely needs more balancing)

Anyway really thanks for this feedback, I love to talk about game design like this!
